- Mission Sunday will be celebrated on Friday 20th, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd October. Our Holy Father encourages us to take an active part by praying for the missionaries and extending support through our contributions. The collection made on these days will be sent to the Vatican for Mission works. Envelopes will be distributed after each mass. Please enclose your generous contribution and drop them in the box kept at the entrance of the Sacred Heart Church and the Mother Church.
- Our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Freddy D’ Souza and Asst. Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Wellington Munoz will be celebrating their birthdays on Thursday, 19th October. A Thanksgiving Mass will be offered at 6.00 pm on that day. Let us participate in the mass and pray for their intentions.
- We thank you for patronizing and supporting the“Dinner for a Noble Cause,” by purchasing your tickets. All ticket holders, kindly note that gates will open at 7.30 pm, show starts at 8.00 pm sharp and dinner will be served at 9. 30 pm. All are requested to kindly be on time.Those parishioners who wish to contribute towards this cause in either cash or kind are requested to contact Fr Gasper Fernandes, or approach any one of the DFNC members who are at the Help Desk. Your generous contribution will go towards the needy families especially towards sponsoring a child’s school fees and benefitting the needs of the poor of our various communities in the parish.
- Catechism fun day will be held on 17th November at the church grounds from 8.00am to 2.00 pm with games, food stalls and variety entertainment. Various competitions will be held for children to bring out their talents on 9th and 10th November. Registration forms for the competitions can be collected from the catechism office on Friday from 8.00 am to 12 noon and after evening masses on Friday, Saturday and Sunday Last day to return the registration forms is 27th October 2017 .
